The derth of class time brought on by snow days may present unexpected opportunities. In addition to the wonderful videos available in the Art Through Time Series (http://www.learner.org/courses/globalart/), I have placed a link here to a site, smarthistory.com, that has a series of wonderful short discussions on artworks. If we are to find ourselves homebound once again this week, I have included a link to a series on High Renaissance works within the site that would be enormously beneficial for the art history student. I would recommend at this point :
http://smarthistory.org/school-of-athens.html (a discussion of Raphael's School of Athens) and the short segment on St. Peter's reconstruction http://smarthistory.org/saint-peters-basilica.html.
Please feel free to explore many of the other available lectures and discussions as well.
