Met Museum Field Trip

The AP Art History class, as well as the art studio classes have been invited on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on October 30th. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is the most comprehensive collection of art covering pre-history to contemporary times and holds work in collections from cultures around the globe. Cost for each student is $35 to cover admission and bus fare. Each student should also be prepared to purchase lunch at the museum cafeteria. Our bus will leave Amity at 8 AM for the museum. We will depart from New York at 2:30 and should arrive back at Amity at approximately 4:30 - 5pm. Students and parents can learn more about the museum by visiting www.metmuseum.org
