Chapter 18 Fifteenth Century Art in Northern Europe and the Iberian Peninsula
Note taking is one of the most fundamental aspects to learning, and an excellent resource in helping you understand and review information. Your assignment for Chapter 18 will concentrate on this important practice by allowing me to review your note taking process.
On Monday, Dec. 8 you will be turning in the notes you’ve taken for this chapter. As notes are often an issue of personal organization and method, you have the flexibility to take the notes in any format you desire including the Cornell Method, Outlining, or Concept Maps.
Your notes will however be assessed on the following criteria:
1. The notes contain a minimum of 10 Major Ideas/Headlines or Concepts.
2. Each Idea/Headline/Concept has a minimum of 3 subsidiary ideas beneath it.
3. Each subsidiary idea has a minimum of 2 facets or attributes.
Your notes should cover
• Major Historical/Social Events
• Major Artists
• Major Artworks
